You are new to counselling and want to get some beginning relief in dealing with your addiction OR you’ve had counselling in the past and you know you need to again seek treatment for non-serving behaviours that are preventing you from ideally coping and thriving.

During this 90 day program, you will receive:

  • Individualized assessment (pre- and post-sessions to track progress)
  • Weekly in-person sessions
  • Weekly email check-ins
  • Practical tools that help you take steps forward in handling your current struggles

  • Your current addiction is significantly affecting multiple areas of your life including your job, healthy, marriage, family, and other relationships.
  • You are recognizing you need help to change and can’t do this on your own.
  • You are tired of engaging in the same pattern you have been engaging in for years
  • You are ready for greater peace, mindfulness, and coping skills so you can live your best life.
  • You want a lifestyle that will support all the changes you will need to make.

During this monthly program, you will receive:

Body n’ Brain Package – Counseling and Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy (BSCT)

Kickstart your body and mind healing

  • If you want increased accountability to attend counselling or BSCT sessions
  • Are interested in and/or want to experience the benefits of holistic healing
  • Experience negative body image
  • Are wanting to shift problematic patterns in your life

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for Weight Management

Losing weight and keeping it off can be a challenge. Diet and exercise are important components for healthy weight management. However, it can be a struggle to make changes that allow for managing weight. This struggle can be eased by adding a third component to the weight management process – learning to think and behave in ways that support weight management.

Skills can be learned that may help you stay on track and maintain gains, not just in the short term but for the rest of your life.  These skills may also help deal with difficulties that may arise such as slip-ups and cravings.

By purchasing this 2 session package you will learn both behavioural and cognitive (thinking) skills to assist you in achieving your weight management goals.

Session 1 (90 minutes; $200) entails:

  • Goal setting
  • Dealing with cravings, slips
  • Monitoring eating habits
  • Modifying eating habits
  • Recognizing hunger, satiation, and over-eating

Session 2 (50 minutes; $200) entails:

  • Learn to identify unhelpful thoughts
  • Learn to modify unhelpful thinking patterns

Once you have completed the core sessions (Session 1 and 2) of this package you have the option of signing up for the following 50 minute sessions ($200 each) listed below, based on your individual needs:

  • Follow-up Session
  • Review and work through challenges experienced
  • Review any skills from the core sessions
  • Worksheets that you may have completed between sessions can be brought in to review
  • Session focusing on CBT skills to assist with particular challenges that you may encounter (one of the following will be covered during a 50 minutes session; please indicate which challenge you would like to discuss when booking this session):
    • Eating in response to emotions
    • Managing relationships with family/friends
    • Managing the holidays
