At Serenity Now we are here to help you discover the tools and resources you need to move through your fears, anxiety, and other concerns in a safe, supportive environment. You may be experiencing feelings of real distress, whether that be physical, mental, or emotional stress, in your everyday life. However, with our committed team of Calgary Mental Health Professionals, you will experience “Serenity Now.”
Part One: Communicating Under Pressure in Polyamory
Relationships usually only get more complicated when you add more voices or more people. Complicated, however, doesn’t mean it has to be harder! With the right skills and tools, you may even find communication can feel easy and safe.
This workshop will highlight the tools and skills needed to communicate under pressure in a polyamorous relationship. Learn how to manage overwhelming emotions, to negotiate solutions, to discuss deal breakers, and to repair the damage after a fight.
Part Two: Repair and Boundaries
“Compassionate people ask for what they need. They say no when they need to, and when they say yes, they mean it. They’re compassionate because their boundaries keep them out of resentment.”
― Brené Brown, Rising Strong
Boundaries are key tools that protect individual identities and relationships. Setting good boundaries is a skill that requires practice, safety, and vulnerability. This workshop highlights how to discover your boundaries, how to discuss your boundaries, and how to recover from boundary violation.

Being Body Aware
In this 5 week series, we explore how an increased awareness of the body and its sensations will deepen our connection to self.
When we are disconnected from our body, we may feel disoriented, clumsy, uneasy, or completely dissociated from our wants and needs. The truth is, we live in a world that encourages disconnection from our bodies. But our bodies hold truth, wisdom, and authenticity. By learning to listen closely, we can discover a more grounded, whole, and confident sense of self.
Over 5 weeks, come explore the wisdom present in your body. Learn practical tools to tune-in to your inner-most physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. By noticing and exploring subtle sensations in our body, we can tap into our deepest inner-wisdom.
This subtle movement practice will merge elements rooted in Dance/Movement Therapy, Authentic Movement, and Mindfulness Meditation. It will be unlike any movement practice offered in the city.
Give yourself permission to access your fullest self, and ignite deep appreciation for your body.
January 3rd to 31stm – Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm
