About Alex

Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and a Master of Counselling degree. Alex enjoys teaching new graduate students in the Master of Counselling program at City University (Canada) as well as students at Mount Royal University and Bow Valley College. In his spare time, Alex is an avid marathon runner, scuba diver, and mindfulness meditation practitioner.

Beliefs and Values

Alex believes that each individual has the power and strength to overcome their challenges – regardless of what they may be. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a Client-Centered approach, Alex believes people can live a fulfilling and emotionally healthy life. Alex believes each person has a unique set of needs and likes working with clients from diverse backgrounds to help them achieve their goals and ambitions.

Areas of Interest and Knowledge

Alex enjoys working with individuals and couples who are going through various life challenges and changes. Although Alex enjoys working with individuals and couples with diverse concerns, he is particularly passionate about working with people struggling with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Men’s Health issues, Personal Relationship issues, Anxiety, Depression, and Stress.

Alex can provide you with a safe and healthy environment to bring up any topic you want, as well as figure out some strategies to help you move forward. Alex can also help you with various coping skills to help manage your PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, and Stress
