About Brittney
Brittney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. She is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with training and experience in the areas of human development, cultural and social psychology, trauma therapy and interpersonal violence, clinical interventions, couples and family counselling, grief therapy, and professional ethics. Additionally, Brittney has obtained additional training from Dr. David Burns in which she received her TEAM-CBT Level 1 certification; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; Narrative Therapy; Solution Focused Therapy; and has completed numerous training programs with a focus on trauma-informed care. In her spare time, Brittney loves to travel, try new cuisines, hike, and camp. If she isn’t in the office then she is often on a mountain!

Brittney believes that each client is the expert of their lived experience and she embraces a collaborative and creative approach to therapy. Using a strengths-based, nonjudgmental perspective, Brittney helps clients dissect then re-create a new understanding of their story, allowing for dynamic growth and change. Brittney compares therapy to riding a bicycle – she is there to catch you if you fall, but it is YOU doing the work!
