Beliefs and Values
Mandy is passionate about working with children, adolescents and their families. She combines the theory of attachment with solution-focused techniques to provide goal-oriented change, which ultimately leads to healthier relationships. She believes that all people are striving to create positive and loving connections with others. However, sometimes people’s best intentions or behaviours get in the way of relationships, which can cause emotional deregulation, isolation, sadness and troubling behaviours. Partners can also find themselves gradually growing away from loved ones; but with small tweaks we can rebuild and maintain these healthy relationships.
In sessions, Mandy works with her clients using various activities in order to actually experience various emotions associated with a safe and secure relationship, so that you can walk away feeling comfort, pleasure and peace.
