Jennifer is a Registered Psychologist with a Master of Science degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary. She has additional training in psycho-educational assessments, child and adolescents, trauma, and family therapy.
For the last 5 years, Jennifer has primarily worked with children, teens and their families who are experiencing significant behavioural and emotional challenges through a family-centered, trauma-informed, relationship-based approach. She has worked in specialized school placements, campus-based mental health programs, post-secondary institutions, and community counselling services.
Jennifer’s areas of specialty include school concerns, parent-child relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, trauma, adoption related issues, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, and personal skill building.

Jennifer is passionate about helping others increase their overall sense of well-being through a trusting, collaborative, relationship-based approach. She believes that understanding where a person is coming from and highlighting their strengths in a non-judgmental and empathetic manner helps to create space for change and success. She draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches to best meet the client’s needs, and seeks to help create meaningful change and increase a sense of peace and wellness.
