Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology and a Master’s in School and Applied Child Psychology, both from the University of Calgary. She is currently completing her PhD in School and Applied Child Psychology. She has provided assessment, consultation, and therapy for clients aged two through adulthood in a number of settings, including rural and urban schools, not-for-profit agencies, and outpatient mental health clinics.
Andrea provides psychological assessment and consultation to help answer questions about why a child, adolescent, or adult might be struggling at school, at work, or in their everyday life. She has extensive training and experience in the assessment of learning disorders, intellectual ability (including giftedness), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), mood and anxiety disorders, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. With her training and experience in educational psychology, Andrea can provide consultation to schools for individual program plan (IPP) development or effective strategies for the classroom.

Andrea is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families. She takes a holistic, non-judgmental, and strength-based approach to understanding her clients’ personal experiences and life circumstances. She believes that it is important to draw on evidence-based strategies that best suit the needs of the client, allowing her to integrate techniques and strategies from a wide-variety of therapeutic modalities and orientations.
