My yoga journey started many years ago and has been an evolution in understanding the practice, philosophy and value of movement and breath. It is what I practice for a sense of peace and calmness but also for mobility and strength. It is because of the knowledge shared by exceptional teachers that I love being on my mat and my work and passion is to bring this knowledge to others.
Moving through accessible, simple postures with attention and mindfulness cultivates awareness of your body’s strengths and compensations. Understanding how your body moves through simple postures sets the foundation for moving into a challenge with ease and fluidity. Every body benefits from movement, breath, and mindfulness practice. Cultivating this understanding and awareness on the mat allows us to take it confidently off the mat and create a sense of ease in our lives.
