Jasmin Dhillon - NW Calgary Therapists

Registered Psychologist

“Sometimes we get caught up in patterns of behaviours that can get in the way of the life we want to be living. Together we will work towards exploring and modifying these behaviours.”

About Jasmin

Jasmin received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Regina. She has provided psychotherapy to clients struggling with a variety of concerns including chronic illness (e.g., pain), depression, anxiety disorders, grief, stress, self-esteem, procrastination, assertiveness, and interpersonal difficulties, in  a number of different settings including a university counselling centre, hospitals, rehabilitation centres, and outpatient mental health settings.

Beliefs and Values

Jasmin’s clinical practice is guided by a cognitive-behavioural orientation, while integrating techniques from other therapeutic modalities. She believes that it is important to draw on evidence-based strategies that best suit the needs of the client. Jasmin works collaboratively with clients to explore and modify unhelpful behaviours and thinking patterns within the context of a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship. Clients are provided with skills they can use to achieve their specific treatment goals.
